Job Title: Part Time Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will support licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately. 
•  Retrieve and input prescription information using pharmacy software systems. 
• Label and package prescriptions appropriately for distribution. 
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and insurance providers to resolve issues. 
• Process third-party insurance claims and resolve rejections. 
• Maintain accurate medication inventory by receiving, storing, and restocking supplies. 
• Perform regular audits for expired medications and ensure proper disposal. 
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards. 
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment. 
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones and managing customer service inquiries.

• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• State licensure/registration as required by state law. 
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (e.g., PTCB or NHA) required.
•  1+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred (retail or hospital). 
• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems (e.g., PioneerRx, Epic, McKesson).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •
• It's important for team members to work well with each other and support a cooperative environment." 

• Standing for extended periods.
